Justin Thomas was the deserved victor as he tamed Southern Hills Country Club to defeat Will Zalatoris in a playoff to win his 2nd PGA Championship title. This week the PGA moves back to Fort Worth, Texas for Charles Schwab Challenge at the classical test known as Colonial Country Club. Jason Kokrak was crowned champion last year defeating a spirited Jordan Spieth to cap off his remarkable 18 month trophy turnaround! Other champions at Colonial include Daniel Berger, Kevin Na, Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth & Chris Kirk. This 7,209 classical Perry Maxwell Par 70 design is a really tough test of Golf for the Players it is tough but fair. With Jamie still on hols in Portugal, Craig is joined by Geoff Fienberg of Mayo Media Network/Oddschecker US and BetSperts to go over how we think it'll play out and who we reckon can reign supreme at Colonial on Sunday. Reminder to read Jamie's EasyOdds Article for Charles Schwab Challenge and to follow us on Twitter @ThomsonGolf94, @ChasingPars_Pod @Js_GolfingTips, @RH_G0lf & also follow Geoff on @gfienberg17. In this episode Craig is joined by DP World Tour player & 2021 Challenge Tour graduate Niklas Norgaard Moller. Niklas talks about how he has adjusted to the step up from Challenge Tour to DP World Tour, his upbringing in Copenhagen, how he managed to decide Golf was the way forward. Niklas turned pro before 2016 starting out in the Nordic Golf League where a couple of years starting out there he managed to gain a handful of Challenge Tour starts which proved to be good experience as in 2019 Niklas would go onto having 13 Top 10 finishes in Nordic Golf League including a win at Race to HimmerLand at the end of 2019 aswell as 6 2nd placed finishes and 6 finishes between 4th & 10th to ultimately win the 2019 Nordic Golf League Order of Merit to gain status on Challenge Tour. Another win back in Denmark at Esbjerg Challenge back on Nordic Golf League followed in 2020 before a strong finish to limited 2020 schedule. In 2021 it was a great year as Niklas would have good finishes in Sweden, Czech Republic aswell as a 8th at Made in HimmerLand tournament in limited DPWT start this, a strong finish to the season would happen to ensure that after the final event in Mallorca on the Challenge Tour Norgaard Moller would win his full DP World Tour Card finishing the 2021 season in 16th place to earn promotion to the 2nd biggest tour in Golf. We also talk about the Danish revolution of players currently on show aswell as giving a couple of picks for Masters this week at Augusta. We want to wish Niklas all the best for the rest of the year! All the best! Listen if you could thanks! Enjoy!

It's the best week of the calendar year this week with the return of Magnolia Lane, Chaos of Amen Corner and the fresh smell of the Azaleas it must of course mean it is the return of Augusta National Golf Club for The 2022 Masters event. Jamie & Ryan are joined by Matt Tizzard from @WaggleDuff to go over the first men's major of the year and provide useful insight into who will Master Augusta and who will end up winning the coveted Green Jacket. It was a great week for the podcast as Ryan had the winner of WGC Matchplay in Scottie Scheffler at 16/1 that win in Austin takes Scheffler to the summit of World Golf becoming the new World Number 1 Golfer after winning 3 of his past 5 events on PGA Tour. Jamie had Kevin Kisner finish Runner up at 66/1 along with another T2nd in Dominican Republic with 40/1 Alex Smalley at Corales Puntacana where Chad Ramey gained his maiden PGA Tour title. On the DP World Tour in Qatar it was victory for the Scots as the supremely talented Scot Ewen Ferguson battled back bravely from the heartache of Kenya to win his first professional title at Qatar Masters winning at -7 in a brutal contest at the weekend in Doha. This week it is the first major of the year as the Ladies of the LPGA & LET Tours flock to Mission Hills Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California for Chevron Championship formerly known as ANA Inspiration. Patty Tavatanakit was the winner last year at -18. Measuring just over 6,800 yards Mission Hills is an iconic venue in the Women's game with world's best such as Jin Young Ko, Inbee Park, Lexi Thompson and Annika Sorenstam all lifting this Major Championship. Craig & Ryan go through how we feel the first major will play out and we both have a consensus value pick at 20/1. On the PGA Tour we stay in Texas this week as we head to San Antonio for Valero Texas Open the last stop on Tour before The Masters next week! 7,464 yard Par 72 Greg Norman designed TPC San Antonio (Oaks Course) takes Centre stage as Jordan Spieth returns to defend his dramatic title win last year. This event throws up surprises so don't be surprised to see a triple figure winner win this week. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @ChasingPars_Pod, @ThomsonGolf94, @GolfTipster5 & @Js_GolfingTips. We would appreciate if you gave listen this week. Enjoy!

This week is the return of the ever unpredictable lottery WGC Dell Technologies Matchplay in Austin, Texas where the world's top 64 players minus a few noteable withdrawals are battling it out over 5 grueling days to become Matchplay Champion. Billy Horschel was your winner last year defeating Scottie Scheffler 2&1 in the final to win his 5th PGA Tour title. Jamie & Ryan return this week as they dive into the Matchplay madness with some predictions while building their own brackets etc. We also have the Qatar Masters on the DP World Tour where Antoine Rozner is the defending champion as the players return to Doha GC after the last 2 years being played at Education City it's expected to be heavy winds at the weekend in Doha so should be fun ending. We also have the alternative event on the PGA Tour as we are back in Dominican Republic for the Corales Puntacana Championship where Joel Dahmen grabbed his maiden PGA Tour victory in breezy conditions. A lot of Golf this week, should be fun. Enjoy!

In this latest episode of the podcast. Craig is joined by 2018 South Africa Amateur Champion & Current Sunshine Tour star Deon Germishuys as he joins us in his home from Johannesburg to talk to us about last week's event at Pecanwood Estate where he narrowly missed the cut while playing good golf at -5 Deon also gives us a nice insight to how it will play this week at Steyn City a course he has played a couple of times before with it set to rain on Wednesday it should yet again be a scoreable test with the greens soft & receptive. With it playing longer than last week at Pecanwood, Steyn City should play at about 7,700 yards with over 1,350 metres of elevation above sea level. We also go over Germishuys' brilliant Junior & Amateur Career success with 3 wins at Junior level & 2 wins at Amateur level including the big one in 2018 winning South African Amateur Championship. Deon turned pro in 2019 after winning a card on Sunshine Tour at Q School he talks about the transition from Amateur career to playing competitively on the Sunshine Tour. Yet to win on Sunshine Tour I am sure it is only a matter of time before Deon wins his first professional title. It was great to have Deon come on the pod to chat with us, enjoyed it & I hope we have done a good job at pinpointing the growth and insane amount of talent South African Golf has at its disposal. Thanks Deon, Enjoy!
