John Deere Classic + Made in Himmerland (with Tom Ford)

Welcome all to this week's episode where we are in Farso (Denmark) + Silvis (Illinois) respectively for Made in Himmerland on the DPWT where Oliver Wilson is the defending champ after a 7 year wait for a 2nd title last year defeating Ewen Ferguson & on the PGA Tour we have John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run where JT Poston is the defending champion. We also have the US Women's Open at Pebble Beach to look forward to that should be a great event!
Last week Tom got the winner with Rickie Fowler winning for his 6th PGA Tour title and first since 2019 at Rocket Mortgage Classic in dramatic fashion defeating Adam Hadwin & Collin Morikawa in a playoff while Daniel Hillier fulfilled his current form and put in an outrageous close of Eagle Birdie Eagle Par to win by 2 at The British Masters on a tricky Sunday at -10 to win his 1st DP World Tour title in epic fashion.

Hi all welcome to The Belfry week for this year's British Masters! For me one of the most anticipated events on the DP World Tour calendar. This week I am joined by Duncan Campbell from Golf Betting Club to discuss this week's event in Sutton Coldfield just outside of Birmingham! US Open Championship (with Tom Jacobs)

Well what a week for Golf with all the surrounding controversy with the mergance of PGA Tour, DPWT & LIV Golf. We had 2 different stories to the events this week with 14 year tour pro and former Pod guest Dale Whitnell winning his maiden DP World Tour title at the Scandinavian Mixed in an incredible display while Nick Taylor became the first Canadian in 69 years to win his home open with an incredible 72ft putt sunk in the playoff against Tommy Fleetwood to win Canadian Open and his 3rd PGA Tour victory.
This week it is the US Open Championship at LA County Club which was designed in 1921 by George C Thomas the designer behind Riviera CC it was overseen by well known Gil Hanse who has hands on likes of Winged Foot, Southern Hills and Aronimink. This week we were joined by Lost Fore Words anchorman, Oddschecker US writer and star of DP World Tour Picks & Bets show Tom Jacobs as he comes on to give us his take on what should be a fascinating US Open Championship!

PGA Tour, DP World Tour & LIV (PIF) Merge Together! What happens next?

In this pod we gloss over last week's tournaments where Viktor Hovland was the winner of The Memorial at Jack's place defeating Denny McCarthy in a playoff to finally win in America. 20 year old sensation Tom McKibbin won his first event on the DP World Tour in style at The Green Monster for the first of many titles and special props to the sensational Rose Zhang who made history on the LPGA Tour winning on his first start as a professional after an unbelievable College & Amateur career!
The main focus on the pod this week was today's shocking news that the PGA Tour, DP World Tour & LIV Golf are to merge together to join forces for 'the good of the game'. We discuss the effects of this historic announcement and what we think happens going forward. We speak about the players that found out the news on Twitter and the internet aswell as what it means going forward for PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan, DPWT boss Keith Pelley & LIV commissioner Greg Norman.

The Memorial & Porsche European Open (With Tom Ford)

Well what a week it was last week for the start of the revamped pod with a consensus 60/1 + 55/1 winner with Pablo Larrazabal and a 80/1 winner with Emiliano Grillo for Tom. Craig also had a 2nd runner up in LPGA Matchplay with 20/1 Ayaka Furue & a 3rd place at 150/1 with Deon Germishuys! In this episode we discuss Pablo and his 9th DP World Tour win aswell as go over The Memorial Tournament on the PGA Tour & Porsche European Open on the DP World Tour!

Ep 80 Charles Schwab Challenge

Justin Thomas was the deserved victor as he tamed Southern Hills Country Club to defeat Will Zalatoris in a playoff to win his 2nd PGA Championship title. This week the PGA moves back to Fort Worth, Texas for Charles Schwab Challenge at the classical test known as Colonial Country Club. Jason Kokrak was crowned champion last year defeating a spirited Jordan Spieth to cap off his remarkable 18 month trophy turnaround! Other champions at Colonial include Daniel Berger, Kevin Na, Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth & Chris Kirk. This 7,209 classical Perry Maxwell Par 70 design is a really tough test of Golf for the Players it is tough but fair. With Jamie still on hols in Portugal, Craig is joined by Geoff Fienberg of Mayo Media Network/Oddschecker US and BetSperts to go over how we think it'll play out and who we reckon can reign supreme at Colonial on Sunday. After a magnificent week coming back from a brilliant Betfred British Masters at The Belfry where all 3 of us went on the Saturday to watch some top action Jamie & Ryan are back on PGA Tour duty this week to cover AT&T Byron Nelson tournament as KH Lee returns to defend his title as TPC Craig Ranch returns for the 2nd year in a row as the tournament host course. Lee managed to win at -25 last year maintaining his liking for TPC Courses. Jamie & Ryan go through their fancies with some surprising & some not so surprising picks! Enjoy the Golf!

After another semi decent week for the pod with 4 places across both tours with Hennie du Plessis T6 at 50/1 for Craig, Brandon Wu T2 at 110/1 & Aaron Wise T6 at 30/1 for Jamie and Cam Champ 40/1 T6 for Ryan. This week we turn our attention the iconic Belfry Brabazon Course for The British Masters where Richard Bland defends his crown after last year's iconic win defeating Guido Migliozzi in a play off to make history becoming the oldest first time DPWT winner at the age of 48 winning on his 478th start on Tour. This week Blandy defends on his 500th start on European/DP World Tour some occasion to mark your 500th start! Craig & Jamie are joined by Ryan Hamilton who returns as we all go through our picks for this week for British Masters!
